Cable cars first appeared in San Francisco in the late 1800's and have never lost their graceful, romantic charm to all who ride them! There have, however, been quite a  few societal and technological changes since then, and Cable Car Classics, Inc., has always adapted to those changes and incorporated them into their trolleys. Examples such as offering wheelchair lifts on all models along with wheelchair tie-downs, bike racks, a choice of diesel, green diesel, compressed or liquid natural gas (CNG or LNG), propane, and gasoline engines, as well as hybrid-electric models.
